Moleskine City Notebook Leipzig Special Edition "600 Years of Universität Leipzig"
Van Gogh, Hemingway, Picasso and Chatwin were all travellers and made notes to make sure that they remembered every detail. Now, there's a special Moleskine edition in honour of Universität Leipzig's 600th anniversary: the Moleskine City Notebook Leipzig.
Small, black and featuring city and tram maps, an overview of the University's history, an essay on Leipzig by Claudius Nießen and plenty of space on the notes and tab pages for personal notes, or jottings on the striking and unusual.
The Moleskine City Notebook Leipzig is the result of a joint project between Universität Leipzig, Leipzig Tourismus und Marketing GmbH and Moleskine.
It is a declaration of love. To Leipzig.

Recording of the "Festmusiken zu Leipziger Universitätsfeiern" by J. S. Bach
Bach worked as the cantor of St. Thomas' Church in Leipzig for 27 years and during this period had close ties with the University, writing numerous commissions for various University festivals. Once this recording of his "Festmusiken zu Leipziger Universitätsfeiern" is completed, we will once again be able to listen to music of which no other university in the world can make a similar claim: that it was composed specially for it by Johann Sebastian Bach.
